1. Tell us about yourself.� How did you get into the industry?

 

  Jeff Gray bought Barker-Hammer Assoc, Inc from his father Ron Gray in 2007.

 

2 Tell us about your store. How long have you been open, what has your experience been so far?

 

 Barker-Hammer Assoc, Inc has been around since the early 1970's originally selling fur cleaning supplies. Than grew into carpet cleaning and restoration supplies.

 

3 Tell us about your staff. Who is there?

 

 We usually have a staff of 9 to 11 employees. Staff is certified in IICRC and each employee hones in on a subject.

 

1 Tell us about yourself. How did you get into the industry?

 

My name is Steve Davis. For over 40 years I've owed and operated cleaning service companies providing janitorial services, carpet cleaning services, hood and exhaust cleaning services, and pressure washing services. For a number of years I also owned and operated a cleaning supply distributorship. I am currently retired and volunteer at the Las Cruces Gospel Rescue Mission in Las Cruces, New Mexico, as their Director of Mission Industries.

 

2 Tell us about your store. How long have you been open, what has your experience been so far?

 

Our store is owned by the Las Cruces Gospel Rescue Mission, and we are in our fourth month of operation. We have been really pleased with our growth to this point, and our service and repair department has really taken off. Pros Choice products have really contributed to our growth and we are excited about the future growth of our business. All profits from our store go directly to the Las Cruces Gospel Rescue Mission and the work we do with the homeless population here in Las Cruces. Our store also enables us to hire and train residents who stay at the mission, providing them with stable job opportunities and incomes. 3 Tell us about your staff. Who is there?

 

Our staff is made up of both paid staff and volunteers of the mission. Louis Almendariz is our Service Manager, and is a volunteer who lives at the mission. Charles Garcia is our Assistant Manager, and he is also the Facility Manager at the mission. My name is Steve Davis, and I am the Director of Mission Industries, and General Manager of our stores.
