Stain Type: Red Wine, Blood, Milk, Egg, Fruit Juice and other Protein Stains TOOLS REQUIRED: Hot water extraction machine. Procedure: IMPORTANT: Do not use high temperature cleaning or heat activated stain removal procedures on these types of stains.
SUGGESTIONS AND CAUTIONS: Remember that blood is a biohazard. Protect yourself accordingly and treat it according to EPA guidelines. Also you may experience “wicking” of blood on heavier deposits. If deposit is heavy enough to have soaked through backing and into pad, replace the contaminated pad and clean carpet backing as outlined in Steps 1 through 5 above. “Wicking” can be corrected by using an absorbent powder such as Stain Blotter. Simply cover spot liberally with Stain Blotter following your stain removal process. The wicking contaminant will go into the Stain Blotter and can then be vacuumed away when dry.
