Stain Type: Cough Syrup

TOOLS REQUIRED: Hot water extraction machine, steam iron and DCI Light.
CHEMICALS REQUIRED: Red Relief and Stain Magic.

Procedure:

The treatment for this procedure will depend on the color of the stain.  Proceed to remove the stain as follows:

Cough Syrup (Red):

1. Rinse thoroughly via hot water extraction. Leave as dry as possible.
2. Apply Red Relief and follow the instructions listed under Kool Aid.

Cough Syrup (Yellow):

1. Rinse thoroughly via hot water extraction. Leave as dry as possible.
2. Apply Stain Magic. Cover with a damp towel. Apply steam heat while checking every 10 seconds.  Remove heat when stain is gone or if carpet begins to lose color.

TIP: For extremely difficult you will find that 100% removal can be achieved by using the Pro’s Choice DCI Chemical Activation Light to increase the reactivity of Stain Magic.

Simply wet stain with Stain Magic, cover spot with chemical activation “DCI Light”, and allow 8 hours dwell time.
