Stain Type: Orange Kool Aid

Note: This stain contains Red #40 and Yellow #5 dyes.  Red #40 is easily removed with Red Relief.  However Yellow #5 is more difficult to remove and responds better to Stain Magic. Consequently you will often need to use these products sequentially to remove the stain.

TOOLS REQUIRED: Hot water extraction machine, trigger sprayer, steam iron or steamer and a terry towel.

CHEMICALS REQUIRED: Red Relief and Stain Magic.

PROCEDURE:

1. Clean and extract the stain thoroughly.  Blot dry with terry towel.
2. Mix Red Relief part “A” & “B” into solution or fill containers in the Dual Chamber Trigger Sprayer.
3. Saturate spot with solution.
4. Cover with damp terry towel and apply steam heat for 1 minute.
5. Remove heat and extraction rinse the area.
6. Blot area with dry terry towel.
7. Mix Stain Magic solution “A” & “B” or full containers in the Dual Chamber Trigger Sprayer.
8. Saturate spot with solution and cover with clean damp towel.
9. Apply Steam heat for 15 seconds.
10. If stain remains, reapply Stain Magic, cover with clear plastic (like saran wrap) and allow 12 hours dwell time.

Summary:
Depending on the severity and age of the stain you may see it disappear by step 6. More difficult stains require steps 7 through 10.

During your process check frequently for color loss. If color loss from carpet is observed discontinue treatment immediately and hot water extraction rinse area.
