Stain Type: Roofing Tar

TOOLS REQUIRED: Hot water extraction machine, Carpet Shark, steam iron, and lightweight terry towel.
CHEMICALS REQUIRED: Pro Solve Gel and Power Gel.

Procedure:

1. Apply Pro Solve Gel to contaminated fibers.
2. Agitate gently with brush.
3. Apply Power Gel and agitate gently.
4. Hot water extraction rinse.  If stain remains…. Reapply Pro Solve Gel.
5. Cover spot with clean, dry, terry cloth towel.
6. Apply steam heat with iron set at mid range temperature for 30 seconds.
7. Blot spot thoroughly with dry towel.
8. Apply Power Gel to spot.
9. Agitate gently but thoroughly to emulsify and suspend any residual tar.
10. Thoroughly rinse using hot water extraction.
